to Birthdays if you are unfamilar with the concept; gifts and cards are given as well as
parties held in the persons honour.
Originally from Feast days of Saints with
the same given or first name much of Europe celebrate Name Days in much
the same way as Birthdays are celebrated in the UK and America.
Your Name day is the Feast day of the Saint with the same given or first name.
