Lots of people have heard the story of how St George slaid the Dragon and possibly call into question whether he actually existed. St George did exist and according to Legend was a Knight from Cappadocia who, when travelling through Libya heard that a beautiful princess was to be the next victim of a dragon who was slowly devouring all the young virgins. St George went in her place and a bloody fight ensued in which St George was victorious. The local towns people were so impressed that they apperantly converted to christians on that very day!
