Historically Famous Hals

Henry II (born in 973), was a Bavarian prince and later Holy Roman Emperor. His tutor was St Wolfgang of Regensburg; Henry apparently had a vision of Wolfgang after his death, portending his own coronation. He was also a friend of St Odilo of Cluny and it was said that he, too, wanted to be a monk, and therefore never consummated his marriage with St Cunegund. It seems that Henry worked with zeal for German unity and the Church's reorganization.
