Industrial action by Royal Mail Staff

The continuing Royal Mail industrial action coupled with the Christmas Bank Holidays means that delivery of parcels and letters are severely delayed.

Other courier companies that we use report unprecedented levels of parcels and hence are overloaded, delaying their deliveries.

Furthermore, as Royal Mail has an effective monopoly on Letters in the UK, we can only use Royal Mail to send CD & DVD cards and Greeting Cards. Other couriers do offer letter size rates however they merely pass these letters onto Royal Mail to process. Realistically, this means delays of anywhere between 2 weeks plus for any mail caught in strike action.

Royal Mail have a web page with their latest updates on strike action.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused however this is outside our control. We are implementing solutions to ensure orders are delivered in reasonable timescales in the New Year.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & thank you for your continuing custom.
