Wedding Anniversary Party Planning
We get a lot of questions regarding anniversary parties and celebrations from visitors to our site so we have developed these pages to address the specific area of wedding anniversary parties and the etiquette that applies. The first thing we always say is how you celebrate an anniversary is very dependant upon the couple and the family circle they belong to e.g. if the couple usually have informal celebrations then don’t plan a celebration that is full of pomp and circumstance, they are very likely to feel uncomfortable and not enjoy it as they should. This of course applies the opposite way as well if they generally have formal parties then do not plan a pizza delivery or pitch in celebration! Anniversary parties are special events, not only do they bring back all the memories of the couple’s special day, but they are also a celebration of the continuing commitment to each other with the chance for friends and relations to join in and show their love and support. Most people tend to keep the earlier anniversaries on an intimate level although if you both love parties then there are no etiquette rules that say this must be respected. The larger anniversary celebrations tend to be for the major anniversaries such as the Silver, Ruby and Golden weddings. Planning an Anniversary party containing;
